Befriending Peace in Daily Life
Thank you for your interest in Befriending Peace: Mindfulness, Meditation, and Heart Practices for Expanding Peace, Connection & Well-Being in Daily Life. This group is open to all parents and caregivers who have completed an Alongside Network Wellbeing Group.
Employing the Befriending Peace framework, we will explore mindfulness and meditation practices that are evidence-based and rooted in many ancient traditions. Your Mindfulness Mentor will be Denise D’Rozario. Denise has worked with Alongside families in the past and is beloved by the Alongside community.
This six-week small-group series uses a secular lens and is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of mindfulness and meditation. Participants will experience some of the many benefits of a mindfulness practice – including a deeper sense of presence, increased capacity for peace and quiet joy, and better connection to oneself and others.
