Joshua Kugler is a Pediatrician at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who loves being active. He is the assistant medical director of the CHOP at Virtua Pediatric Hospitalist program. There, he works in the emergency department, inpatient pediatric unit, and the newborn nursery. Throughout medical school and residency, he developed a passion for being involved in the care of children and fostered an interest in global health. Josh was fortunate to spend over two months in India, primarily at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, further developing that interest. Josh enjoys being a calming presence for families as they navigate the unknowns of the emergency room and inpatient unit with their unwell children as well as experiencing the joy of adding a new member to the family with the parents in the newborn nursery.
