Jen Aspengren founded Alongside Network to support families and young people navigating the stress that comes with a life-threatening illness or injury. Combining over 20 years of systems-changing, equity-based work for positive change with her family’s personal experience following a major pediatric medical intervention, Jen is passionate about making meaning out of our biggest challenges. Jen is a collaborative leader and a strong believer in the idea that everyone can be a changemaker. Prior to founding Alongside, Jen worked at Alia, ChangeX, and Ashoka where she built partnerships, founded local and national offices, and led innovative change. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two sons.
