Caitlin Axtmayer, LSW, MPH, is a Program Coordinator at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) supporting the Center for Pediatric Traumatic Stress (CPTS), as well as programs within the Center for Violence Prevention. In her work with CPTS, she promotes awareness of medical traumatic stress, disseminates interventions and resources that promote trauma-informed pediatric care, and coordinates online outreach.

As a social worker and public health practitioner, she has previous experience working directly with pediatric patients and families, providing trauma therapy, and conducting research on screening in primary care.
